Memory (RAM) : 4 GB DDR MHz (Can be upgraded at extra cost).Hard Disk: 500 GB HDD Drive (Can be upgraded at extra cost).Processor Speed: 3.4 GHz up to 3.9 GHz GHz (with Hyper-Threading Technology and Intel Smart Cache).Processor: Intel Core i7 Processor 4th Generation 4770.That is a pretty nice machine even for just €160! that CPU Goes in for around €120,somethingĪns:Yes It will,Mini Tower and Full Tower don't have a difference in their PSU,except if that system uses proprietery motherboard power (which some HP's of that era do) then you're stuckĪns:I personally don't know,a GTX 670 is easily beaten by the GTX 1050 (forgot if it was TI) and even the GTX 680,same story (forget about the 690 losing) and a RX 460/470 mini will definately fit and will be good choice for the money since they are very cheap used and are not so less than a 560-570 (550? 580? ) or even a 1060/1050TI/1050 will be good though that i5 is more than good enough for a 1060-1070.honestly,I would'nt care about a GTX 670,and If i would,it'd probably fit,im not sure, but get a small version of a 670 and ur good (not that long version)Īns:I personally don't know,a GTX 670 is easily beaten by the GTX 1050 (forgot if it was TI) and even the GTX 680,same story (forget about the 690 losing) and a RX 460/470 mini will definately fit and will be good choice for the money since they are very cheap used and are not so less than a 560-570 (550? 580? ) or even a 1060/1050TI/1050 will be good though that i5 is more than good enough for a 1060-1070. Withh the Evga GTX 670 FTW fit in the Dell optiplex 3020? Will the chosen power supply fit as replacement for the dell 290 W power supply? If it does I would want to add a great cpu called the gtx 670 from evga the FTW edition with 2GB GDDR5 memory it is a 10 inch long card and I dont know if it will fit in my case, further more I will be adding a 60 gb ssd with the brackets bought for del optiplex, another 4 gb ram stick. So as we all know, or who don't know, the dell optiplex 3020 MT has a 290W psu by dell, which makes it unable to put in powerful graphics cards in it, however I was thinking of replacing it with a Corsair CP-9020097-UK VS Series ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Power Supply Unit, 550 W, which am not sure if it will fit the mini tower, if it does I will be making use of a 24 to 8 pin mother board connecter to attach the power supply to the motherboard. I was thinking of going crazy and take a risk and possibly get a higher reward. I have a Dell optiplex Mini tower 3020, I bought it from my friend for £160 here in U.K, it has an i5 4570 clocked at the stock 3.20Ghz speed, no dedicated GPU, 500 Gb 7200 rpm hard drive with windows 10 pro, a single module 1600 Mhz DDR3 ram stick.
